About Us
‘Face to Face was founded in 2011 in the Netherlands.
Since then, we connected more than 1000 students from three continents (Europe – America – Africa) reaching more than 100.000 people showcasing the student’s work.’
What is our mission?
Promote social cohesion and active citizenship by stimulating students’ capacity to study and analyze topics from different points of view, aiming to a greater understanding of worldview frameworks and developing international teamwork. Thereby we aim to cultivate collective action to analyze common problems.
We want to achieve this by:
- Enhancing creativity and innovation using new technologies and online media as a service of education. Take advantage of the communication resources that already exists (Internet, computers, tablets, mobiles phones, etc.) and use them as a learning source for youth.
- Improving the quality of education, providing schools the possibility of getting to know other cultures and contexts from direct sources.
Future:
Our future objective to become an international model for educating students in order to establish ongoing relationships between participating educational institutions around the globe to promote long term collaborate learning.
